Robert Aisner, certainement consultant pour le film "Casablanca" et auteur pour le film "The Cross of Lorraine"
"...From today’s standpoint the Casablanca story appears as one of romantic escap-ism (a characteristic it shares with The Sound of Music). Although The Sound ofMusic is based on a ‘true story’, there is little in Casablanca that has a basis in reality.Nonetheless, Casablanca is a curious reflection of real life in that many of thoseinvolved in the making of the film were European refugees who had escaped fromNazi persecution. Perhaps two of the most relevant examples are, firstly Robert Aisner, the film’s technical advisor, who had actually taken the route described in the film’sprologue: ‘Paris to Marseilles. Across the Mediterranean to Oran. Then by train orauto or on foot across the rim of Africa to Casablanca in French Morocco’, then to Lisbon and America (the intended route of the Bergman and Henreid characters inCasablanca)..."
