MARRIAGE: Book 136, p. 292, Alameda Co., California. However his marriage certificate shows that he was 21 - and that is not correct. He entered military service in France 14 July 1915, and was demobilized 30 September 1919. He was 1 meter, 78 centimetres tall.

NOTES: He was born at 3 rue de la Terrasse, Paris, France. His description is given as Age 31; Height 6 feet 1 inch; Fair complexion; Grey eyes; Blonde hair. The family lived at 3639 Pine Grove Ave., Chicago, Illinois, at the time of his naturalization.

DEATH: District of Columbia Death Certificate, #73 00054, in the possession of the author. He died of arteriosclerosis. His ashes were stored behind the altar at Christ Church, Georgetown, Washington, D. C.,for many years until Mother, Jean Clift Delattre-Seguy, went to California to take care of the burial.
